To treat smelly feet you can make a sage and rosemary solution. Sage and rosemary have antibacterial, anti fungal and antiviral properties. Thus this makes them viable for treating such a condition. Moreover, they help in reducing sweat production. All you need is a teaspoon of dried rosemary, one to two teaspoons of dried sage and a foot basin. Fill in the basin with some boiling water and add the herbs. Wait until the water cools down and then soak your feet in the basin. Leave them soaked for 30 minutes once or twice a day.
To eliminate foot odor, you can also use saltwater. Salt pulls moisture from the skin thus bacterial count is reduced. Soak your feet in saltwater for 20 minutes every day for 14 days and you will definitely feel the results.
Another thing that will help you with feet odor is vinegar. Mix one cup of vinegar with two cups of water and soak your feet in the solution. Vinegar reduces bacteria which cause the odor.
Baking soda also known as sodium bicarbonate helps eliminate foot odor. It neutralizes sweat pH and reduces the bacteria count. Add a few tablespoons of baking soda in some water and soak your feet for 15 to 20 minutes every night for about a week. You can also sprinkle some baking soda in your shoes, this will keep your feet dry and prevent bacteria and sweat to build up.
