Aside from cooking, apple cider vinegar can also be used in cleaning and treating different ailments. This vinegar is actually made from crushed and aged apples until they are fermented.

It contains numerous minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium which are beneficial to one’s health. Here are some examples of its uses that you should take note of.

1. Combats Yeast Growth

There are many people who suffer from yeast overgrowth but are not really sure on how they will be able to fix it naturally. This is where ACV comes in. Studies show that the apple cider vinegar contains acids and enzymes that can actually cause a reaction on the yeast. It may be that your symptoms appear to worsen but this actually means that the treatment is working.

2. Clears Stuffy Nose

When we can’t breathe normally due to our congested nasal passages, Colds can really affect our day especially. When we start sneezing non-stop, what’s worse is. It might help to have some apple cider vinegar in your drink if you want to feel better as quickly as possible. Just mix equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar plus a few drops of peppermint or any other essential oil that can help clear up your nasal passages and drink it.

3. Treats Skin Or Foot Fungus

Aside from candida, apple cider vinegar can also help treat fungal infection so on the skin and your feet. You can soak your feet in a small tub of apple cider vinegar or apply the solution directly on the affected skin. Mix 25/75 parts of ACV and water if you are dealing with skin fungus. It might sting at first but this will help treat the infection fast.

4. Removes Fleas

Apple cider vinegar can actually be used to get rid of fleas that are pestering your pet dog. The acidic nature of vinegar can actually kill off the fleas or at least get rid of them from your pet’s skin. Use the ACV as the final rinse for your pet. It might smell afterwards but this will protect them against health problems caused by flea bites.

5. Works As A Natural Skin Toner

When you make your own, there are some toners that can be harsh on the skin but not. All that you have to do is to mix equal parts of water and apple cider vinegar then add a few drops of your favorite scent into the mix and use it as you would your regular toner.

6. Removes Product Buildup

With the amount of hair products that we use everyday, it is impossible for our hair to not look greasy and dull. You might want to rinse your hair with some apple cider vinegar if you want to revive your hair. The acidic nature of apple cider vinegar can actually help remove build up on your scalp and hair.
